30. An employee may be absent from work for 3 days without reduction of wages by reason of the death or the funeral of the employee’s father, mother, brother or sister, the father or mother of the employee’s spouse or one of the employee’s grandchildren. The employee may also be absent, without pay, for 2 more days on such occasion.
